The Great Louisville Snow Storm of '09

Since moving here I've really learned to drive in snow and ice. It's still not fun. Here are some pics from the great power outages I'm sure you've heard about. The big tree that once shaded our entire front yard got halfway taken down by the ice.
This is the night before we went to bed.

This is the morning after...

Marlowe's 2nd Birthday!

It was snowing the day Marlowe was born. It was also snowing on her 2nd Birthday. She had fun making cupcakes, dancing in her new pullups and going to Toys R Us to get a new baby doll from Nanny & Poppy.

Marlowe gets in mama's makeup...again!

At least she knows the mascara goes on her eyes.

Out trip to the Newport Aquarium & Cincinnati Ohio

As soon as the snow melted we headed to the Newport Aquarium. It's sits on the edge of Ohio. The trip took us about 2 hours. Once we got there we realized a lot of other parents had the same idea. Needless to say we spent more time at IKEA than the Aquarium! If we would have had more time we'd have gone searching for WKRP. Maybe next time.

After the fun Brain had stuffed 22 bags of leaves. Marlowe really didn't like leaves
